We are seeking a Development Manager for a four-day a week position.  The position requires strong interpersonal and fundraising skills, energy and a desire to excel as an essential member of a small hardworking team that is doing unique, important and rewarding work.  This position has travel opportunities and significant growth potential.  Must have the ability to work collaboratively and independently.  Sense of humor and flexibility is a must. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working with staff and Board to meet fundraising goals

    • Building and maintaining relationships with corporate and individual donors
    • Coordinating fundraising events
    • Maintaining sponsor and member programs
    • Grant research and applications, tracking and reports
  • Monthly reconciliation with Finance Manager
  • Create and distribute digital and print communications to supporters
  • Administrative support for Board of Directors meetings

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of business or non-profit experience
  • Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Salesforce, Constant Contact

Bonus experience:  

  • Drupal/CMS
  • Legislative, political or legal work
  • Quickbooks
  • Canva or other graphic-design tools/software
