Attorneys:
Licensed to practice law and represent individuals and businesses in legal matters. Regulated by State Bar Associations and subject to rules of professional conduct that vary from state to state.

Public Adjusters:
Professionals who represent individuals and businesses in matters relating to the valuation, adjustment and settlement of insurance claims. Licensing, bonding and professional conduct rules vary state to state. All UP public adjuster sponsors are members of the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters.

Cleanup & Restoration Services:
Professionals who specialize in cleaning up property damage and restoring property to pre-loss condition. Licensing and professional conduct rules vary state to state.

Disaster Recovery, Estimators and Appraisers:
Professionals who specialize in preparing scopes of loss and/or determining the extent, nature and amount of property damage, appropriate repair methods and calculating the cost of repairing and replacing damaged or destroyed property. Licensing and professional conduct rules vary state to state.

Financial Professionals:
Finance experts with varying types of professional qualifications and certifications. Includes Certified Financial Planners, Certified Public Accountants, Enrolled Agents and Registered Investment Advisors. Licensing, bonding and professional conduct rules vary state to state.

Independent Insurance Brokers:
Insurance agents who represents multiple insurance companies, not just a single one. Licensing, bonding and professional conduct rules vary state to state.

Personal Property/Contents Inventory Help:
Professionals who represent insureds in claim related matters specifically related to personal property/contents, including inventory preparation, valuation, depreciation and replacement cost calculations. Licensing and professional conduct rules vary state to state.

Relocation Services:
Assistance with temporary living arrangements and storage. Licensing and professional conduct rules vary state to state.

Repair/Rebuild Contractors:
Professionals who repair and/or replace damaged and destroyed property. Generally regulated by Contractor’s State Licensing Boards, licensing, bonding and professional conduct rules vary state to state.
