My permanent address is in Ms., but I was staying in La. in my RV. I got insurance for my RV while I was staying in it working in La. My Allstate agent put my RV lot as my address on the policy, but he knew my permanent home was in Ms . Now when I had a claim they said I'm not insured under my Allstate policy because I was living in the RV and the policy was for recreational use only. My agent turned my claim over to his E&O insurance a month ago and still no response, this whole process has been going on for over 3 months. I've now found out that my agent isn't licensed in Ms., and the policy should've been wrote as a Ms. policy because La. law says it must be issued to to where the RV is garaged. I feel it's for sure an E&O issue, but they are really dragging there feet on settling. What should I do?
