Claim filed and assessed with $12,024.59, covering over 9 areas to be repaired and replaced, including City Permits and TWI Engineer Fees. Insurance company's' estimate was matched, however Did Not include General Contractors Overhead and Profit of an additional 10% each. Agent claimed that there was enough complexity of work, but because I as the Homeowner as well as the General Contractor would omit obtaining O&P, inspite of my company performing all the necessary jobs at hand in completing restoration and is allowable under the limits of the policy. Is this Valid?
