I have been requesting in writting that my bank answer in writing if it will release my flood insurance funds or apply them to my mortgage if they will not release the funds because they have taken so long that I have started to do the repairs with my own resources. I could not get a contractor to agree to their terms. They will not answer me in writing but they have called to verbally answer no. Do I have any recourse? Thanks very much. Just a little more information. I have paid this mortgage on time for 10 years always paying more than required. The mortgage was sold from USAA to US Bank. Thanks for any help or advice that you can give me. Sincerely, LW
New Jersey
