Two weeks after our claim (Oct 2nd fire) claims adjuster asked us to just keep liability. Seemed fast. We called local insurance office as there was another structure on property that did not burn. They advised keep insurance declaration in effect. AAA has sent us a letter of non-renewal. We are in the middle of a claim and have no intention of closing this claim. Demolition of burnt home is scheduled for February 17. Can they do this? We have not decided yet to rebuild. We may try to build somewhere else. ALSO NEED please give us information on rebuilding on another lot in CA. Can AAA ethically do a non-renewal on this claim? We must have some insurance if we build there or anywhere. It seems unethical and dishonest but perhaps it is legal. PLEASE ADVISE THANK YOU
