Our house was substantially damaged by Superstorm Sandy. it was an older home, and was tested for lead paint. Many of the door frames contained lead paint, and were included in the adjuster's report to be replaced. However, what was not included was the expense to properly remove the frame by a certified lead specialist, which cost is significantly more than just ripping it off. Is this something that can be fought for, and added into a supplemental claim after the fact?
