In Aug 2011 my home was devastated by "HURRICANE IRENE". We had FLOOD INSURANCE (FIDELITY),I documented everything, photo's ,compiled receipts, submitted all invoicing. Not including the loss of TWO CARS, we spent & lost upward of $100,000. My husband & I were never directed to seek any assistance, NO OUTSIDE HELP OF ANY KIND! As a direct result of the overwhelming situation, all the losses, the horrible mess, the lack of support, by Jan. 2012 we separated & believe me, I am still suffering, emotionally & financially. I am still carrying the debt I incurred, and living in the house that never got finished, because the insurance co. only gave us back $23,000.00. I am 59 years old, divorced after 22.5 years, $65,000.00 in debt,& living in my house we paid $560,000.00 in 2007, that I couldn't sell today for $450,000.00! I couldn't act sooner!
